Local Bookshops

Parchment St, Winchester SO23 9AH, UK – 01962 866266

Situated in the main high street, this has to be one of W H Smiths flag ships, the building alone is beautiful, go upstairs and your see how the roof has been restored back to its former beauty. The shop is a large with an excellent kids section.

I really like this store as it maybe quite small, but I have always found it to have every book, magazine & map that I have needed. It is split onto two floors with the books upstairs, & downstairs has all the magazines, cards & stationary you could possibly want plus more, & there is also a Post Office at the back of the store, whilst the front where you pay for your goods has two self serve machine in case the queues are quite large, staff seem nice too.
